This side scan image shows the steam passenger ferry the Dawn. Often referred to as one of the most loved ferries operating on Lake Washington it's history is largely known.
Located at the South end of Lake Washington this vessel was apparently scuttled after its boiler and valuable equipment were removed. Sitting in just 110' of fresh water this vessel is one of the lakes most popular due to the ability of recreational divers to reach it. The cabin structure of this vessel is intact largely intact and runs nearly the full length of the vessel.
